Bram Stoker Award-winning editor and author, Michael Knost will be conducting three days of FREE writing workshops for the public. Michael won the 2009 Bram Stoker Award while in Brighton, England for his Writers Workshop of Horror (Woodland Press 2009), a how-to book on writing.

No matter if you are a beginner, an amateur, or a professional, you will benefit from these FREE classes. You do not need to be a writer to attend—maybe you are just interested in the writing process.

Michael teaches these classes all over the country, charging hundreds of dollars, but wanted to offer the residents of Logan County an opportunity to learn the craft of writing without having to travel all over the country. “When I started writing, I had to pay thousands of dollars for workshops in New York, Kansas, Pennsylvania, and Maryland,” Michael said in a recent interview. “I want the talented folks in Logan County to be able to get the same quality classes right here at home at no cost to them.”

Sponsored by the Logan County Commission and the Logan County Public Libraries, the classes are not only FREE to the public, but will also include certificates of completion for each attendee.

Michael’s most recent book, Return of the Mothman (Woodland Press, 2013) is getting tremendous international reviews, and is a fan favorite in the horror/thriller genres.
